Sleeplessness is a very common problem, almost 35% of all adults complain of problems sleeping. Sleeplessness is a general term for problems concerning sleep. It means that you either have trouble falling asleep no matter how tired you are, trouble getting back to sleep when you wake up during the night or wakeing up too early in the morning.
The quality of your sleep is how well rested you feel
Not the number of hours you sleep is defining of sleeplessness, but the quality of your sleep and how well rested you feel when you get up in the morning. If you feel fatigued, irritable or experience a loss of concentration during the day, you might be suffering from sleeplessness.
Everybody might experience sleeping problems every now and then. But when these sleeping problems persist, they may have a negative effect on your everyday life, your work, your relationships and they may even lead to health problems.
